DC32 Animal is full size and powerful, for pet hair removal on every floor type. It comes with extra tools to remove dirt and pet hair from floors, upholstery and awkward places around the home and car. DC32 Animal has Root Cyclone™ technology + Core separator – advanced cyclone technology for capturing microscopic dust.

Root Cyclone™ technology + core separator

Conventional vacuum cleaners rely on bags to trap dust and dirt. But when you start to use some bagged machines, dust can clog the tiny holes in the bag. Some ordinary bagless vacuum cleaners work in a similar way. They use a central filter to trap fine dust, which can clog too. Suction drops, leaving dust and dirt behind in your home.
Dyson's patented cyclone technology doesn’t rely on a bag to trap dust and dirt. Instead, it spins the air so fast that centrifugal forces up to 100,000 times the force of gravity fling dust and dirt out of the air and straight into the clear bin.
Dyson engineers have combined Root Cyclone™ technology with a core separator - an extra cyclonic stage between the outer and inner cyclones - to separate particles as small as 0.5 microns from the airflow. You could fit 200 of these particles on a full stop.

Hygienic and quick to empty

Emptying the bin on a Dyson vacuum is quick and hygienic. Just press the button to release the dirt. The bin is clear, so you can see when it needs emptying - and how much dust, dirt and pet hair the machine has captured. Dyson vacuums were the first to have clear bins - despite market researchers insisting it was a bad idea. Now clear bins are everywhere (though not all are made from the same ABS polycarbonate as riot shields, like Dyson bins).

Lifetime HEPA filter

Dyson cyclones are able to extract particles as small as 0.5 microns - including common household allergens such as pollen and mould. But there's also a HEPA filter as an extra precaution for people with asthma and allergies. It won't need replacing – just give it a wash according to the instructions that come with the machine.

Articulating hard floor tool

Soft bristles gently clean wood and delicate floors. Pivots 180° and has an ultra-slim profile to reach into awkward gaps.

Mini turbine head

The Dyson Mini turbine head has an air-driven brush bar that removes pet hair and dirt from tight spaces like upholstery, stairs and inside the car. Tiny bristles catch fine hair and fibres. A clean air turbine reduces bulk and weight and prevents obstructions. The cover is made from tough ABS polycarbonate.
